Our vision is to transform prevention of chronic disease by developing accurate and personalised genetic risk predictors for everyone.

Our lab leverages large-scale data and develops innovative computational methods to uncover genes driving complex diseases like diabetes, asthma or depression.

Our team, under the leadership of Professor Loïc Yengo, consists of three researchers and one student. We employ advanced data science methodologies to derive insights in the field of genomics, and are actively engaged in the development of software and the generation of data resources.

We are a part of the Statistical Genomics Division, and the Centre for Population and Disease Genomics, of the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at The University of Queensland. Professor Loïc Yengo is an Affiliate of The centre for Population and Disease Genomics, and an ARC Future Fellow – GL for the Institute for Molecular Bioscience.
